Addressing root causes of forced migration

We support initiatives aimed at eliminating the root causes of forced migration, such as:

• climate change
• arms trafficking
• economic exploitation, and
• the absence of democratic structures and public administration

We also support public education efforts on the causes of climate change and on possible measures for climate protection, for combating arms trafficking, and against economic exploitation. In addition, we promote and develop projects that support the establishment and strengthening of democratic structures and public administration worldwide.

To help eliminate causes of forced migration such as poverty and exclusion, local volunteer groups in Stuttgart, together with just human, have supported Roma families in Serbia and Kosovo who were deported from Stuttgart. Support included, for example, funding a university degree and helping establish a small catering business. Donations are passed on by just human in full (100%).
